All webinars will take place on Wednesdays at (11 am PT/ 2pm ET). Spring semester is traditionally a time for more advanced topics. Among other topics, we will explore why open educational practices and their effects on learning outcomes can help sustain your OER initiatives beyond the initial cost savings, the importance of student collaboration and feedback in OER initiatives, and what are the potential benefits and challenges associated with open education platforms developed in-house or by third-party developers.
Spring semester is also the time for Open Education Week, Mar 5-9, 2018. There will be a variety of short showcase webinars featuring community colleges engaged in OER on Wed, March 7. Check back here for updated speaker information up to two weeks prior.
