We are no longer accepting volunteer applications. Thank you to everyone who applied.
Are you passionate about Open Education and ready to be an active part of a CCCOER committee? We are now accepting volunteer applications for open committee positions through the end of May. If you’re committed to Open Education and building community through collaboration, we’d love to hear from you!
CCCOER currently has three standing committees:
- Equity, Diversity & Inclusion – 2 openings
- Professional Development – 4 openings
- Research & Impact – 2 openings
Each committee functions to support the goals of CCCOER and engages in activities that are aligned with the CCCOER Strategic Plan.
Volunteers who accept a position with a Standing Committee agree to:
- Embrace and advocate for Open Education values and resources
- Maintain engagement and communication with CCCOER and Council leadership so that the organization remains informed and can respond to changes when needed
- Know and follow the documented procedures for activities, meetings, and volunteer communications
Explore our new 2025-2030 Strategic Plan to learn more about our vision, mission, and goals, and check out the newly-revised CCCOER Program Guide for details on participation, leadership pathways, and the role of each committee. While we prioritize CCCOER members, we do accept non-members for committee roles. If these openings are not the right fit for you now, keep an eye out on the CCCOER listserv/Community Email for future openings in working groups and special projects.
Incoming Executive Council members and Committee Co-Chairs will be announced later this summer. See current executive council and committee members https://www.cccoer.org/about/people/.
